Mindfulness is a tool that can help you become happier, calmer, more creative, more focused, and more in touch with yourself.
With mindfulness-awareness practice, we learn to become aware of not just the mental processes that go on in our minds but also the physical processes that we encounter. For example, we start to notice that we often clench our jaws when we are feeling stressed or our stomach distends when we are anxious.
In this class, you will learn to meditate as well as learn about mindfulness-awareness as it relates to trauma.
